Client-Centered & Relational Therapy

At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy is not just about techniques or tools—it’s about relationship. I practice from a client-centered and relational perspective, which means I see you as the expert of your own experience. My role is not to tell you who you are or what you need, but to create a space where your story, your feelings, and your truths can be honored without judgment.

Relational therapy builds on this by recognizing that healing happens in connection. So much of our pain comes from relationships—whether through loss, trauma, or patterns that leave us feeling unseen or misunderstood. In therapy, we begin to rewrite that story by creating a different kind of relationship: one built on safety, trust, honesty, and sometimes even humor. I don’t believe therapists should be blank slates. Instead, I use myself authentically in the room, joining you in our shared humanness so that we can build something real together.

When we work from a client-centered and relational lens, therapy becomes less about “fixing” and more about deepening connection—to yourself, to others, and to the parts of life that bring meaning. My hope is that what you experience in our relationship ripples outward, helping you cultivate more openness, compassion, and authenticity in all the places you show up.
