Narrative Therapy
In my work, I also draw from Narrative Therapy, which is all about helping you see yourself beyond the problem. So often, the challenges we face can feel like they define us—“I’m anxious,” “I’m broken,” “I’m not enough.” Narrative Therapy invites us to step back and notice how these stories were shaped: by our families, our relationships, our culture, or difficult experiences in our past. When we can separate ourselves from the problem, we can begin to see that you are not the problem—the problem is the problem.
What I appreciate about Narrative Therapy is how empowering it can feel. It opens space to rewrite your story in a way that reflects your strength, resilience, and values, rather than only your struggles. Together, we look at the ways you’ve already resisted or pushed back against limiting stories, and we use that wisdom to build new chapters that feel more aligned with who you are becoming. For many people, this process brings a sense of relief and possibility—a reminder that the stories we carry are not fixed, and that we get to choose which ones we want to live by. My role is to walk alongside you in this process with curiosity, warmth, and care, so that together we can uncover and nurture the stories that bring meaning, connection, and hope.
